People often get caught up in the doing. Often its mindless doing out of habit. It is rare for us to align our intent with what we are doing.

But intent is the most important part…..

Some people throw kindness around to simply to earn karmic brownie points.

Let me give you an example:

A child comes to a parent asks a question to which she/he is given a mindless answer. The intent of the parent is not to listen or understand but to have the child go away so he/she can get on with what they were doing.

The intent and the doing have to align. The parent has to stop, focus on the child and the intent should be to be fully there for them.

I challenge you do become aware of what you do during a normal day and what your intent is as you are doing it.

If you intent is to be kind then make sure THAT is what you are being

If your intent is to be mindful then make sure THAT is what you are being

If your intent is to be focused than make sure THAT is what you are being
